She holds a Ph.D. (1973) in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley. She is currently emeritus professor of psychology at Istanbul Bilgi University. Her work on morality has appeared in "Personality and Social Psychology Compass", "Current Psychology", and "Turkish Journal of Psychology".
