Şahin Atik
Graduate Research Assistant
I hold a bachelor's degree and a master’s degree in psychology from Istanbul University and am currently a PhD student in the Psychological Science Program at Kadir Has University.
My research broadly focuses on political psychology and more specifically on intergroup relations. I am intrigued by prejudice, discrimination, and system justification, particularly how group and system-level processes affect these phenomena. In addition to understanding these complex relationships through quantitative and qualitative approaches, I am interested in seeking ways to reduce system justification among disadvantaged group members, address intergroup conflict, and increase cooperation between groups.
